WE CONDUCTED OUR BUSINESS THROUGH EDS IN THE PANDEMIC

Nazife Eskicioğlu, who has been working at MOSI Tekstil, one of the leading textile companies in Turkey, for 7 years and is currently the EDS Project Leader, talked about how they went through the pandemic process as a company. Stating that they felt the global effects of the Covid 19 epidemic both economically and socially, Eskicioğlu said, "It has been a challenging process for us, like all companies." She emphasized that EDS is a good communication and follow-up tool for them in overcoming problems.

TECHNOLOGY IS VERY IMPORTANT

Stating that the problems and crises in other countries also affected them because they export, Eskicioğlu continued as follows: “Our biggest advantage has been the presence of our customers who sell online. Since they continued selling online, we were able to continue making production. For a while, we also continued working from home. However, it was very difficult to try to solve the problems without seeing them on site and coming together. But I think this taught us it is also possible to work outside the office and how important technology is.”

EDS IS A GOOD TOOL

Stating that they have taken various measures with the declaration of the global pandemic, MOSI Tekstil EDS Project Manager Eskicioğlu said: “You can be instantly informed about problems or predictive information in the office. But since we do not have such a chance in remote working, our most important communication and follow-up tool has been EDS. We could have been up to speed.”

She continued her speech as follows: “Even though the situation gets worse because of the pandemic, I don't think we will have much difficulty in terms of working from now on. I think we overcame the really difficult period and learned to work remotely. Thanks to EDS, tracking becomes easier and you can get rid of paperwork burden and see many things on the system. It is also an advantage to be able to analyze the past and the near future. EDS is a good tool for telecommuting”.

100 USERS WITH REMOTE CONNECTION

Established in 2005, MOSI TEXTILE is a ready-made clothing manufacturer company which exports. MOSI Textile has been actively using EDS for 10 years and has about 100 users. Besides its corporate office, it has 3 workshops in Buca, İzmir, Şanlıurfa and Albania. EDS is being used in all locations through remote connection.
