Bülent Çivan, a student of Computer Engineering Department at Dokuz Eylül University, who completed his summer term compulsory internship at Enfotek, made evaluations about his internship at Enfotek.

Bülent Çivan, a student of Computer Engineering Department at Dokuz Eylül University, who completed his summer term compulsory internship at Enfotek, made evaluations about his internship at Enfotek. Can we get to know you briefly?
Hello, I'm Bulent Civan. I am studying at Dokuz Eylul University Computer Engineering Department. I am originally from Manisa. I am doing my internship at Enfotek Company.
Where did you hear about Enfotek? Why did you choose here for your internship?
I heard about the company through Enfotek General Coordinator Aslı Tamtürk. Aslı Hanım told me about Enfotek. I thought it would be good for me and wanted to evaluate the internship opportunity.
How is the working environment at Enfotek? How is your relationship with your co-workers?
The working environment is really fine. Good opportunities are provided and everyone is helpful when trying to produce something. I try to get on well with my co-workers. Everyone is respectful to each other and there is a warm working environment. In my previous internship experience, people were not such friendly, there was a distance between managers and employees. On the contrary, there is a very friendly atmosphere between employees and managers at Enfotek.
How do you spend your internship at Enfotek? What are you doing?
During my internship, I try to improve myself and be useful to Enfotek. I have been working on SQL for a while. Now I am doing an R&D study by learning Docker.
What are your takeaways from your internship experience at Enfotek?
During the internship, I learned a lot about software and business. In addition, I have seen good anecdotes about business life. I think that topics such as relationships with colleagues, task sharing, and producing a business together are very valuable. Practically, I gain knowledge that I could not learn at school.
What are the things you do on Enfotek's XRAD platform?
I changed Dataset names on XRAD platform. I used applications such as EDS, Personnel. The platform is very practical for use. I can say that it is very useful as an interface.
What are the contradictions and points in business life with the department you are studying, what are the common features?
I am working on works related to the department I am studying, but what I learned at school does not help much in practice. It was taught a little bit of everything in the university. There are more details in business life and I think I have improved myself more.
As a student, how do you see the future of Enfotek and the software industry?
The software industry is an endless industry. It will continue to evolve as long as human life continues. In developing technology, everything will continue to be produced and controlled via computers. For this reason, I think Enfotek also has great potential. I think that they will continue to grow by keeping up with the developments and improving the software they produce.
