Online ERP Training, one of Enfotek's vision projects, was discussed in the live broadcast of UCTEA (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects) Chamber of Textile Engineers on Youtube channel. Aykut Üstün, Chairman of UCTEA Chamber of Textile Engineers, VQA and Textile Engineer MSC Tuğrul Tamtürk, General Manager of Enfotek took part to the program moderated by Aslı Erdoğan, UCTEA Chamber of Textile Engineers İzmir Branch Board Member. In the program, topics such as Enfotek's history and products, ERP, Online ERP Training, Lean Digitalization, Industry 4.0 and the textile sector were discussed.
A NEW CONCEPT HAS ARISEN
General Manager of Enfotek Tuğrul Tamtürk talking about the emergence of the concept of Lean Digitalization and its contribution to the success of ERP projects, said: “Almost every software on the market calls itself ERP. We were aware of the fact that we were following a different path here and we thought about how to express it. We knew about the Lean Production technology. I’m an engineer from Quality Production origin, that’s why I am well aware of the concept of lean production. Since digitalization is also our business, we brought these two concepts together and came up with a concept that did not exist until then, called 'Lean Digitalization'”.
WE PUT INTO USE BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE
Indicating that they discussed the concept of Lean Digitization with Management Consultants and that the issue is not just installing software, Tamtürk said: “We came to agree that methods should be improved, inactive processes that don’t provide added value should be eliminated and digitalization should be started with a new methodology accordingly.”
Tamtürk stating that they came up with the Expert ERP concept unlike the general ERP software, finished his speech as follows: “We said and implemented that people who know textile well in the textile industry can do ERP and that engineers who know the machinery industry can do ERP. We introduced a concept of simplification by adding business intelligence to the work. Only when these are done, added value in a company increases, the need for human resources decreases and losses reduce. We improve our products on these values.”
